Vaulting Paris Masters: 1st and 3rd for GBR
2 Podium positions and the national Athem played once again for the two British Vaulters in Paris:
European Champion Joanne Eccles has retained her title and continued her 2009 unbeaten record internationally by winning the Paris Masters CVI 2009.
Close behind and also producing a top performance was Lucy Phillips finishing 3rd on her debute at the Paris Event.
Joanne (from Tillicoultry, Scotland) competed on her European title horse 'WH Bentley' lunged by her father John Eccles.
Lucy Phillips (from solihull) competed on her own Pitucelli lunged by Elka Schelp-Lensing.
This rounds off a fantastic year for Joanne and Lucy, who have really made a name for themselves on the international circuit. Work now begins towards Kentucky, WEG 2010 next October which both girls have already been selected for by BEV Ltd.
