It’s a hat trick for Joanne in Paris!

20/12/2010

World and European Vaulting Champion Joanne Eccles won the World Cup Women’s Senior Masters Class in Paris last weekend (10-12 December) – making it three years in a row as the title holder.

Joanne (21) from Tillicoultry, Scotland competed on her own WH Bentley lunged by her father John Eccles. She finished on a score of 8.9, beating Antje Hill from Germany to claim the top spot.

This rounds off a fantastic year for Joanne who won Britain’s first ever World Championship Vaulting medal – a Gold – at this year’s Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Kentucky, USA.

Joanne’s sister Hannah finished 4th gaining a personal best in the second round, finishing on 8.3.
