Athletes confirmed for eventing team event

Following today’s (16 August) Horse Inspection at the FEI Eventing European Championships in Strzegom, the four riders who will contest the team event for Great Britain have been confirmed as:

  • Rosalind Canter, based in Lincolnshire, with Caroline Moore's and her own Allstar B
  • Kristina (Tina) Cook, based in West Sussex, with Elisabeth Murdoch and Keith Tyson’s Billy The Red    
  • Oliver Townend, based in Shropshire, with Angela Hislop’s Cooley SRS
  • Nicola Wilson, based in North Yorkshire, with James and Jo Lambert’s Bulana

Piggy French (based in Leicestershire) with Jayne McGivern’s Quarrycrest Echo and Gemma Tattersall (based in West Sussex) with the Pebbles Syndicate’s Quicklook V will compete as individuals.

The competition gets underway tomorrow, with the first day of the eventing dressage.
