British eventing team selected for FEI Nations Cup in Aachen

The British eventing squad has been selected for the FEI Nations Cup in Aachen, Germany on 14th – 17th July 2016.

The Team is as follows;

Tina Cook, from West Sussex, with Mrs Pip Wates, Miss Ailsa Wates and Equine Aqua Trading’s Calvino II
Laura Collett, from Berkshire, on David and Diana Chappell’s Grand Manoeuvre
Franky Reid-Warrilow, from Powys, and her own Dolley Whisper
Nicola Wilson, from North Yorkshire, with Gerry & Mary Kemp and Janine Shewan’s One Two Many

Individual;

Zara Tindall, from Gloucestershire, Gleadhill House Stud Ltd’s High Kingdom

After winning two of the four competitions so far in the nine event series GB currently sit in first place on 325 points with a 55 point advantage over second placed Germany. This weekend (8th – 10th July 2016) the GB squad of Jodie Amos, Rosalind Canter, Justine Dutton and Ben Way will be looking to increase their tally as they take on the first Nations Cup competition to be hosted outside of Europe at The Plains in Virginia, USA.

The GBR Eventing teams are supported by the lottery-funded Equestrian World Class Programme a portfolio within the British Equestrian Federation. The programme focuses on identifying talent, developing potential and maximising medal-winning performances on the world stage. The Programme has been funded by the National Lottery via UK Sport since 1998.
