The eventing Horse Inspection got things underway for equestrian today at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, as twenty-four nations came forward to present in the glorious Brazilian sunshine.

Having been drawn fourteenth to go, the British team of William Fox-Pitt (Chilli Morning, owned by Christopher Stone), Pippa Funnell (with the late Carol Toliver’s Billy The Biz), Kitty King (Ceylor L A N owned by Diana Bown, Jacqueline Owen and Samantha Wilson), Gemma Tattersall (Quicklook V, owned by The Pebbles Syndicate) and travelling reserve Tina Cook (Billy The Red, owned by Elisabeth Murdoch and Keith Tyson) all sailed through this morning’s trot-up at the Deodoro Olympic Equestrian Centre.
