Eventing Shortlist announced for the 2017 Young Rider European Championships

The following horses and riders have been confirmed as the short listed squad who will be heading to Ireland to compete for Great Britain in at the FEI Young Rider European Championships at Millstreet, Ireland, from 19th to 23rd July 2017.

In alphabetical order of riders, the squad of six are:

Lizzie Baugh, 19 from Nottinghamshire, and her own nine year old gelding Quarry Man
Katie Bleloch, 20 from Warwickshire, with her own 11 year old gelding Bulano
Felicity Collins, 19 from East Sussex, and Ms Vicky Collins, Mrs Avrina Milton’s eight year old gelding RSH Contend Or
Sam Ecroyd, 20 from Flintshire, with Mrs Penelope Ecroyd’s nine year old gelding Tullaher Sunrise
Alex Kennedy, 20 from Somerset, on Mr and Mrs John and Andrea Kennedy’s 12 year old gelding Lissangle Cavaletto B
Libby Seed, 19 from Wiltshire, with Carolyn Bate’s 11 year old stallion Philanderer II

The reserve combinations have been confirmed as:

The first reserve is Charlotte Bacon, 20 from Oxfordshire, and Lucinda M Froggatt’s 12 year old gelding Last Touch.

Also in reserve is Tintin Belsham, 21 from Oxfordshire, on her own 11 year old gelding Riverside Vision.
