Junior vaulters selected for Europeans

British Equestrian Vaulting have announced the selection of their junior team who will compete out at the FEI Junior European Vaulting Championships in Hungary, 30 July - 3 August.

Andrew McLachlan and Rebecca Norval both have Championship experience under their belts, taking the Junior European Pas de Deux title in Slovakia 2012, before winning silver at last year’s European Championships in Austria, competitions which also saw Andrew head home with Individual bronze.

In a team that boasts previous Championship experience, there are debuts in the Individual classes for GB’s Sophie Aitchison, Harry Cox and Shannon Purves.

Individual Female:

Shannon Purves

Reserve: Hannah Young 

Individual Male:
Andrew McLachlan*
Harry Cox

Pas de Deux*:
Andrew McLachlan and Rebecca Norval

*To comply with FEI rules, a decision will be made nearer the event on which two events Andrew and Rebecca will contest.
