Driving European Championships

Dick Lane was the final driver to head into the arena today for Great Britain on the final day of the Driven Dressage phase. With his beautiful team of Lipizzaners, Dick produced a lovely test for a score of 59.41 penalties.

Commenting after his test, Dick said; “I was pleased with the test but a little disappointed with the score. In that atmosphere and in that level of competition I am really pleased, they were very strong going in there; they stood well but there was just a little jog in one of the walks. It’s been a great trip out here and a great competition; we’re looking forward to the next two days.”

Team Great Britain currently lie in eighth place in the team standings. Individually the Brits are currently occupying sixteenth (Wilf), twenty-fourth (Dick) and thirtieth (Karen). There’s all to play for as the team now focus their attention on tomorrow’s cones section – as a change in proceedings sees the marathon the final phase on Saturday (22 August 2015).
