Tammy has a long record of western riding successes since achieving AQHA International Youth Rookie Rider in 2001. She represented Great Britain as a member of the AQHA Youth World Cup Teams in Amarillo, USA during 2002 and 2006 and in Australia in 2004, and has enjoyed numerous reining wins whilst competing widely across Europe during subsequent years.
Tammy became NRHA European Youth Reining Champion in Austria in 2007, going on to compete on the British Team at the FEI European Reining Championships firstly at Mooslargue, Switzerland later that year, and then as a member of the Bronze Medal winning team at Kreuth, Germany in 2009. She was also a proud member of the British Team that came fourth at the very first FEI World Reining Championships at Manerbio in Italy in 2008.
For the 2009-10 season Tammy was Hi Point Non Pro Rider in Belgium, 1st and 2nd in the UK European Affiliate Non Pro Standings, with her palomino stallion ‘Jac Wonders Who’, 5th in the Non Pro World Standings and 1st in the European Intermediate Non Pro Standings with ’The Magic of Whizz’.
Rarely away from her horses, Tammy, who is a British Horse Society Assistant Instructor and Ride Leader, enjoys music and dancing and, as a qualified technician, can often be found brightly decorating the nails of her fellow competitors around the world.
Tammy was part of the reining team that competed at the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Kentucky.
