Background

Laura’s father, Dr Wilfried Bechtolsheimer, represented GB at the 1995 Europeans, and he and her mother, Ursula, who have lived in England for over 20 years, run a breeding and training centre. Laura has a degree in philosophy and politics from Bristol University.

The youngest ever British National Champion, aged just 20, Laura was again Champion in 2010 and 2011 - and our first rider to ever break the 80% barrier. She currently holds the British Grand Prix Freestyle record (87.60%) with Mistral Hojris, Hagen 2012
