Carys Jackson worked for the English Institute of Sport (EIS) for 4 years, helping athletes prepare for the Olympics in a multitude of sports.  Before that she ran her own fitness consultancy business working with local athletes and riders, after graduating from Oxford Brookes with a BSc Hons, and Bolton University with a Postgraduate Certificate in Strength and Conditioning.  Carys has ridden for numerous years, eventing competively, but now just enjoys schooling and bringing on youngsters.  This background helps her understand the areas that the riders wish to develop, and she particularly enjoys focusing on stability, balance, posture and muscle imbalances.  Carys is now freelance and supports the Development Programmes.
