Erik Mackechnie

Team Staff

Erik Mackechnie is a World Class Development Para Equestrian Dressage Coach and has been involved with Para Equestrian Dressage since the run up to the 2000 Paralympic Games. He is the Paralympics Representative for Scotland and is an RDA Dressage Representative. Erik has competed to Advanced level in dressage and has a wide circle of clients all over Scotland.

Erik resides in Perthshire, Scotland ten minutes from Gleneagles where he is the Training Coach. This involves the ongoing training and development of the staff and coaches and also the reviewing of it. He teaches a number of clients throughout Scotland who compete in a variety of disciplines. He qualified as a BHSI in 1998.
