Lee started riding western when he was 10 with the encouragement his my father who had been riding western for many years before hand and this has been he was 16. He is the head trainer and coach at Oakridge quarter horses owned by Lita Pocock and Graham Longhurst who have been supporting him ever since he came to Oakridge in 2005.
Lee enjoyed success at the European Championships in 2009 where he contributed towards the team's Bronze medal. This will be the pair's first European championships together and they have their focus on the World Equestrian Games in 2018.
Now 35, Lee is married to his wife Becky and has three children, Jay, Kaia and Felix.
