Lucy Phillips

A gymnast since the age of four, Lucy combined the two when she was six years old and has been vaulting ever since.  A member of the GBR advanced team from 2001-2004, she has been the English Senior Female Champion since 2007. Lucy has represented GBR at two World Equestrian Games, firstly at the 2010 Games in Kentucky and again in 2014 where she finished 11th in the Individual Female Championship.

Lucy is current English Champion in the Senior Female individual category and has held this title since 2007.

She has recently retired her top vaulting horse, Pitucelli. This will be her first Championship since 2009 without him however she is welcoming this challenge with open arms.

Alongside her vaulting career, Lucy works for the British Equestrian Federation as a World Class Programme Assistant, and is signed with modelling agency W Athletic.

She has a degree in Sport and Exercise Sciences and was awarded a Full Blue from the University of Birmingham Sport for continuous international representation; she graduated from a Masters in Strength & Conditioning in 2013.
