Fiona Bigwood

Biography

Fiona was a member of the British dressage team at the 1993 Junior European Championships and the Young Rider European Championships from 1994 to 1996, all with Pablo Picasso. In 1997, Fiona was the youngest British rider ever to be selected for a Senior European Championships with Dance & Fly, the same year she took the British National Elementary title with Afrikka.

Fiona and Tillie [Atterupgaards Orthilia] were selected to compete for Great Britain at last year’s European Championships, where the pair helped GBR to a team silver medal. 2016 has seen some impressive results for the talented duo, including a first place out at Roosendaal in the Grand Prix Special after posting a score of over 77%.

After spending over 13 years living and competing in Germany, Fiona returned to Great Britain in 2006 and now lives in West Sussex with her husband Anders Dahl, a fellow dressage rider from Denmark, and their three children.
