Endurance worked again on the Training loop; they have their Horse Inspection tomorrow afternoon. As I write this, it is raining biblically, the endurance competition is on Wednesday starting at 6.30am and so a very early start for everyone, myself included.

Eventers did some flat work today in their main competition arena. Their Horse Inspection is Wednesday afternoon and the course will be open for walking, for the first time, on Wednesday morning.

Dressage did some schooling and arena familiarisation today. Their Horse Inspection is tomorrow morning at 8.30am and the draw will take place in the afternoon.

Reining have their Horse Inspection tomorrow at 11am in the Indoor School. Both reining and dressage start their competitions on Wednesday and eventing on Thursday.

The para-dressage horses and vaulting horse come out of quarantine tomorrow afternoon and move into Barn 3 and 2 respectively.

More owners arrive in this evening – today Alex and Tina (our Owner hosts) spent the day familiarising themselves with the venue and making contact with the key people they need to liaise with on venue.

We had a briefing this morning about Hurricane ‘Flo’. They are clearly very on top of monitoring the situation and are keeping the OC and ourselves updated regularly – which we in turn clearly pass onto athletes/grooms/owners/support staff through the Chefs d’Equipe.
