In 2003 Pippa became the first rider to complete the Rolex Grand Slam of Eventing following consecutive wins at Lexington, Badminton and Burghley, earning a $250,000 bonus from Rolex and a place in the history books. As a result of her phenomenal achievements she was voted Sunday Times Sportswoman of the Year 2003 and was in the top five of the BBC Sports Personality of the Year.

In 2005, Pippa was made an MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours. She's also had a successful international showjumping career alongside her eventing successes and is also heavily involved with the breeding and producing of British-bred horses in partnership with her husband, international showjumper William Funnell, and Donal Bardwell at The Billy Stud in Surrey.
