My name is Georgia Tame I’m 21 years old, my hometown is Coolham West Sussex but I’m now based at Hickstead with Chloe and Shane Breen. I’ve been working there for 4 years and 6 months.
My best horses are Cash Up and Z7 Caretina but I have a lot of other lovely horses that are starting to step up.
My showjumping idols since I was young is Marcus Ehning, Shane Breen and Edwina Tops Alexandra and it’s such a privilege to be training with one of my idols. I got into horses at a very young age through my parents, my mum is a dressage rider who’s trained with Carl Hester and my dad is a farrier. My first pony was called Ronnie a coloured 12.2 which then went on to the Charles and Williams family’s. I never really did serious jumping on the ponies mainly just had fun and did some eventing etc. When I got my first horse at 11 is when I started to do the jumping more seriously I went to train with Charlotte Platt and Ronnie Healy and from there went on to train with Shane. Since then I’ve won 4 and 5* ranking classes, been double clear in a 5* World Cup, jumped on Young rider and Senior Nations cups and went to the young rider European championships where we won team silver.
To relax I like to go shopping and spend time with my family. My favourite film has to be Dear John and my favourite dinner is a Sunday roast!
