Roffelaar has been ridden by debutant Paralympian Felicty Coulthard for the last 18 months. She describes him as "laid back, but he has a cheekiness about him which makes him lively." She adds that, "he has a good temperament and can be 'cheeky' but he seems to look forward to me being at the stables, as he puts his head over when I arrive." However, she also says that "He can be grumpy when tacking him up and puts his ears back."
This year will be Roffelaar's first Paralympic Games and Felicity is busy preparing him before they travel to Hong Kong at the end of August.
